Our company is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hotels needing support and changes;
  • Weekly flash revenue & KPI results;
  • Team;
  • Implementation and compliance to Group controls and authorities;
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
  • Line management and development of onsite Finance Manager and offsite Accountants;
  • Prepare and/or review materials and minutes of meetings;
  • Ad hoc projects and other tasks as advised by the Group Finance Director;
  • Provide support on Group initiatives and reporting as and when required;
  • Act as business partner to Group operations by providing support across various financial and commercial areas;
  • Provision of periodic training sessions to the wider finance team on relevant, technical accounting subject matters;
  • All group entities’ consolidations and interim financial statements;
  • Ongoing process improvement;
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure we can meet the business requirements and utilise funds in the most efficient manner;
  • Implementing and maintaining highest quality financial controls throughout the business.

Requirements:

  • Consolidation and financial reporting experience;
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified;
  • Desire to work in a fast-moving professional services environment;
  • Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy;
  • Previous audit involvement and the capacity to project manage an audit process;
  • Committed to a long term career in accounting within an expanding business;
  • Strong group consolidation experience;
  • Experience within a business services or professional services business;
  • Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent);
  • 5 years PQ +
  • Fully Qualified professional accountant: CIMA, ACCA or ACA;
  • Ideally experience with an international accounting function;
  • Exposure and aptitude towards commerce and trade, good communication skills, active and agile;
  • Commercially astute, articulate and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels;
  • Dynamic, highly motivated, with an inquiring mind and a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
