Our company is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve systems and processes;
- Ensuring EMEA Region closes in line with timetable, including ensuring the outsourced providers provides reports on time;
- HMRC reporting;
- Prepare & review monthly group accounts & consolidate various entities;
- Supporting the overall transition and implementation of ERP, systems, processes and procedures along with working the transition project team;
- Lead a team, initially of six, and build a proud and high-performing culture;
- Month, quarter and year end close for client portfolio;
- Provide the business with monthly numbers supported by a meaningful narrative;
- Managing the production of the statutory accounts and indirect and direct tax compliance and reporting;
- Ensuring all reports are prepared in line with timetable and constantly striving to improve reporting;
- Ensure Company complies with HMRC rules;
- Oversee all driving improved controls and processes across an international remit;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients;
- Production and review of financial statements;
- Develop, manage and lead the financial control area of the business and assist with its international expansion.
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA;
- Experience working in practice background;
- Strong stakeholder management;
- Strong technical skills;
- Must be ACA/CA/CAANZ/ACCA/CIMA Qualified 5 years + PQE;
- Hold a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
- Immediate/1 week notice period;
- Able to co-ordinate the delivery of key financials and reporting requirements across multiple sites and to tight deadlines;
- Strong business partnering skills;
- Ideally trained within Practice;
- Recent experience working in a large scale, professional business is essential;
- Candidates MUST be able to start a role in March and commit to a period of 12 months;
- Staff management – proven ability managing large teams is essential, ideally in a shared service centre function;
- Ideally have worked within the Financial Services industry;
- Project finance experience.
