Internal Sales Advisor Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Internal Sales Advisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Client meetings on and off site with account manager;
  • Processing orders through SAP;
  • Promote and generate business from new and existing clients;
  • Send updates to Customers on Outstanding Orders;
  • Strong PC literacy is required;
  • Actively dealing with all sales enquiries, converting sales and offering appropriate upsells;
  • Any other duties required by management;
  • Researching new business opportunities;
  • Sales – to increase sales through the conversion of incoming phone and email sales enquiries;
  • Previous experience of CRM Dynamic is advantageous;
  • Complete Tender documents and Statements of Compliance for the larger projects;
  • Taking & making calls from businesses across the UK and closing leads that have been generated;
  • Pro-active telephone sales (20% of role) – warm leads only;
  • Day to day contact with customers via telephone and email and occasional face-to-face meetings;
  • Order Processing – Input and scheduling of sales orders via SAP ERP and CRM software.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supply chain/demand planning;
  • Self motivated and target driven;
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a benefit but not essential;
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages;
  • Great communication skills over various mediums;
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar business system would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively;
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
