Our company is looking for a IT Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritising workload and focus for the IT Support team including, for example, routine tasks, proactive/reactive ad-hoc tasks, and escalations;
  • Manage issues with Shopify store and stock related issues;
  • Sales reporting and understanding how to present these figures is key as well as managing any key technical issues on web and stock movement;
  • Account for expenditure and ensure technology improves efficiency of service, while managing the budget and reducing costs wherever practical;
  • Ensure the website and mail provider are running smoothly;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that the IT function delivers appropriate services to the organisation;
  • Ensure that the team implements & adheres to strong governance & best practice ITIL-led service management principles;
  • Build and support an IT Operations team for the R3 business globally, instilling can-do attitude, and being ambassador for IT and technology;
  • Focus on ensuring the integration between a stock fulfilment systems and Shopify and new marketplace platforms;
  • Ensure that the IT team have access to all the necessary equipment, training and support to fulfil their roles;
  • Manage and streamline E commerce and carry out all reporting for a growing brand;
  • Provide and support all IT based business systems, including servers, network, applications, communication equipment, PCs and laptops.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on technical IT helpdesk experience;
  • High attention to detail with a process driven mentality;
  • Able to manage projects and vendors with budgets in excess of £1m;
  • Ability to make risk-based decisions quickly using incomplete and sometimes unreliable data;
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering IT projects that meet business requirements on time and budget;
  • Team management experience including delivering 1-2-1 meetings, leading PDPs and leading highly successful teams;
  • Good coaching and motivation skills – previous line management skills of a small team is essential;
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organisation;
  • Excellent customer/client service skills;
  • Strong IT skills including all Microsoft Office packages;
  • Change management skills and experience encompassing both the technical and people elements of change programmes;
  • A continuous improvement focus;
  • You need to love what you do – be an evangelist for IT at R3.
