Lead Generator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Generator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, weekly and monthly, to divulge appointments and contracts;
- Ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant;
- Maintaining a high level of communication with customers to improve professional working relationships;
- Contributing towards team success; recommending improvements to systems and processes where necessary;
- Assist with list building activities as directed;
- Provide detailed sales and business information to local sales teams to be included in the sales cycle timeline;
- Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in our CRM;
- Make outbound calls to convert prospects and leads into sales appointments;
- To support research to identify new markets and customer needs;
- Report on data and present back to the sales team;
- Work closely with marketing & sales teams to drive awareness and traffic to our site and channels;
- Successfully converting leads to appointments for the Insurance Advisors;
- Create weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management and end of month reports on revenue and market performance as required;
- Using social media to build relationships with new customers;
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects.
Requirements:
- Lead Generation;
- Excellent telephone manner, comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and working to targets;
- Good level of IT literacy is essential, as you’ll be required to document your sales activity and pipelines in a CRM system;
- Minimum five GCSEs including Maths and English;
- Ability to work under your own initiative as well as being a team player;
- Thrives in a dynamic team environment with a sense of humor;
- Have a professional phone manner, with a resilient approach;
- Be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets;
- 1/2 years of B2B sales experience/lead generation preferred;
- Cold Calling;
- Additional European languages are a plus;
- Energy sector experience is preferred but not essential;
- Outstanding organisational, prioritising and time management skills;
- Research;
- Able to work well under pressure.
