Learning and Development Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Learning and Development Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing admin support;
- Printing and filing of documents for training sessions;
- Creating / maintaining / updating departmental databases;
- Manage the evaluation of learning and training events. Manage system for awards and qualifications, including apprenticeships;
- Assist the wider L+D team as required by the senior management team;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel to gather, analyse or present information;
- Maintain L&D systems, including LMS content and the training content via company intranet and ensure that all tracking is consistent and up to date;
- Maintain relevant policies and procedures relating to e-learning, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with the latest legislation;
- Query resolution for LMS system issues;
- Ordering of stationery & computer consumables through in trade purchaser system;
- Create and maintain documentation of L&D processes and procedures including the Job description library;
- Ensure data quality is maintained when entering data into our Learning Management System and L&D Gateway;
- Input to monthly board reports;
- Producing documents using Microsoft applications as required / requested;
- Answering phones and dealing with enquiries where possible.
Requirements:
- Relevant theoretical or organisational knowledge of systems, procedures and policies associated with operating an administrative service;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals;
- Always strive to deliver a high-quality service;
- Exceptional organisational skills with sound ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering first class customer service;
- Excellent knowledge of a wide and varied range of ICT software;
- Flexible with a ‘can-do’ approach;
- Educated to GSCE standard or equivalent – Maths and English;
- Able to use initiative to organise own work and respond to unanticipated problems;
- Numerate with excellent attention to detail – taking pride in ensuring this applies to all day-to-day activities;
- Experience in L&D related function;
- Adaptable – someone who is not accustomed or doesn’t enjoy ever-changing priorities may struggle in this role;
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or 2 years’ experience in administration;
- Extremely organised with a very high attention to detail;
- Ideally experience of working in an L&D environment.
