Our company is looking for a Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quarterly stock take of UK Operations facility;
  • Regular review of systems to streamline processes for maximum efficiency;
  • Making sure invoices are processed and paid within agreed deadlines and payment terms;
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation;
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company;
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed within a timely manner and in accordance to company policy;
  • Approval of invoices for posting and payment;
  • Assisting with month end reports;
  • Liaising with auditors on an annual basis;
  • Supervising the daily administration of the accounts & finance team including all financial and accounting operations;
  • Create and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures;
  • Daily cashflow management;
  • Work with the company accountants on the preparation and delivery of the annual accounts;
  • Facilitating inter departmental and regulatory audits;
  • Submission of charity Gift Aid Claims, payments and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Willing to contribute ideas and seek improvements;
  • Good client / Introducer / supplier handling skills both by telephone and face to face;
  • Practical experience of handling client enquiries;
  • Ability to work well and lead where required in a team environment;
  • Able to express oneself both orally and in writing in a clear and constructive way;
  • Working knowledge of accounting software with good keyboard skills;
  • Good knowledge of Sage 50;
  • Excellent knowledge of CLC Accounts Rules;
  • Recent practical experience of accounts administration;
  • Willing to ask questions, listen to others views and accept advice;
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and credit control.
