Membership Development Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Membership Development Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with regional managers to encourage local ownership of membership growth;
- Develop and deliver member acquisition, progression and retention strategies globally;
- Partner with marketing team to drive campaigns and initiatives;
- Partner with Knowledge team to drive engagement with the professional community;
- Drive new and innovative propositions and services to improve membership relevance;
- Lead on content, product and comms to drive member experience and satisfaction;
- Collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives;
- Management of member budget and cross-functional working group;
- Responsible for member insights, reporting and key metrics (ROI/CLV);
- Provide and maintain data for monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting;
- Lead the continuous improvement of member journey and touch points.
Requirements:
- Experience using CRM systems and using associated data to inform work;
- Experience developing marcomms strategy to support business objectives;
- Budget management/ control experience;
- Significant experience in a customer engagement role;
- Line management experience;
- Experience of Communications and/or Marketing in Education or Membership environment;
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent professional experience);
- Experience owning and managing multiple projects in a complex environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills;
- Sound understanding of trends and innovation in engagement (digital, analytics etc).
