Paid Media Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Budget allocation across performance channels;
- Taking the lead on new business opportunities and identifying opportunities for growth with clients;
- Bid management and campaign adjustments;
- Understand how Paid metrics interrelate and can influence each other;
- Putting together and overseeing the execution of multi-channel paid media strategies;
- Account uploads;
- Complete daily performance checks to ensure campaigns are running effectively, and within budget;
- Ad copy writing;
- Work across key Paid Search platforms including Google, Bing and GA (Google Analytics);
- Audience analysis;
- Understand the role audiences play with Paid Activity targeting and campaign optimisation;
- Identify the optimisation levers available to improve Paid performance to meet the KPIs;
- Client liaison;
- Search query reports;
- Reporting and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Preferably an understanding of languages such as SQL, R, Python, however, this is not essential;
- Demonstrable commercial experience conducting post campaign analysis;
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a paid media or similar role;
- Must be educated to a degree standard;
- Proactive in improving their knowledge and capability;
- Ideally hold a full clean driving license;
- Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trends within data sets;
- Strong client facing skills having previously worked within an agency;
- Multi-Country Experience (Desirable);
- Strong commercial experience using Google Analytics to conduct campaign analysis;
- Able to communicate effectively, and work as part of a team;
- Knowledge of various marketing platforms;
- Strong commercial experience in the set-up and activation of paid search and paid social campaigns;
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills;
- Commercial experience using Google Shopping is essential.
