Our company is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Content creation: copywriting, copy editing, producing creative briefs;
  • Maintaining brand image across all channels;
  • Plan and brief content creation;
  • Crafting stories around our athletes and rivalries;
  • Work with influencers to ensure we’re producing relevant and on-brand influencer content;
  • Strategising product launch campaigns across all social platforms;
  • Develops and implement social media plans in line with global brand guidelines;
  • Oversee Checkout.com’s cross-channel social media strategy and calendar;
  • Deliver social media plan through content ideas, photo-shoots, competitions and partnerships;
  • Report analytics regularly, helping drive quarterly goals and grow channel benchmarks;
  • Scheduling and optimizing posts with the Digital Content Manager and the wider team;
  • Manage live stream and photography output on-site during events;
  • Continually test new content, features and formats to evaluate market engagement;
  • Engage with Checkout.com merchants and partners across social channels to foster our relationship;
  • Managing the content calendar ensuring that it is always in line with our activity plan.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus;
  • Track record in successfully managing an online community, building social media audience, presence and engagement;
  • Awareness of current culture and relevant promotional opportunities;
  • English, Native or bilingual proficiency;
  • 2-3 years working experience working in social media. Event and brand marketing experience in sports will be a plus;
  • Triathlon enthusiast is a must;
  • 5+ years in social media management, strategy and content delivery;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in a second language is a plus;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Working knowledge of principles of SEO including key word research, GA and a deep understanding of search and social;
  • Strong analytical skills and high-level understanding of how audiences use social media;
  • Strong editorial social copywriting skills;
  • A background in Creative Advertising or Creative Copywriting;
  • Been working within the Creative Agency space across multiple accounts;
  • A creative thinker able to generate new ideas.
