Product Development Executive Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Product Development Executive to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review & maintenance of fee and rebate payments calculated by the fund administrator;
- Point of contract for service providers to calculate transaction costs under MIFID II regulation and for swing pricing purposes;
- Review of financial statements of fund vehicles and management companies;
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure they have the tools needed to maximise sales;
- Taking ownership of the complete lifecycle of the product including product sourcing, buying, producing cost sheets, product presentation etc;
- Monitor performance of assigned brands and review and report on progress;
- Act as Brand Ambassador at events to raise brand awareness;
- Reporting tasks for investors within the funds and for sub-distributors and other distribution partners;
- Assist in the control and coordination of their product range;
- Creation and maintenance of European MIFID and PRIIPS templates (EMT and EPT);
- Assist with factsheet production;
- Ensured all finished goods are supplied on time;
- Responsible for sales reporting and related databases;
- Maximise sales and profitability through the implementation of product and promotional strategy;
- Maintenance of fund related data for internal and external use in openfunds format.
Requirements:
- Highly numerate;
- Good people/communication skills and excellent written and spoken English;
- Strong with Microsoft Office;
- Highly developed IT skills especially Excel & VBA, preferably MS Access database experience;
- Attention to detail and excellent organisation ability;
- At least 2 years experience within a similar product development related role;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Educated to degree level;
- Strong communication skills.
