Project Controller Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Controller to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the financial and project execution function of the business;
- Provide monthly cash forecasts by project;
- Managing multiple currencies including payables and receivables, general ledger reports, inventory, and bank accounts;
- Support forecasting process;
- To look for continuous reductions in O/H and disallowable project costs, and to look to develop improved systems and processes;
- Produce accurate and timely financial information supporting period-end closing processes;
- To provide financial guidance to all stakeholders;
- To work with Project Team and with Corporate Finance Teams to drive and deliver Project financial goals;
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis;
- Experience in Purchase Order Management;
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts and to carry out financial risk assessments;
- Sales invoicing including Basic General Ledger and Basic Inventory to create, post and print invoices and credit memos;
- Project revenue – To be able to segment income, cost and O/H streams to provide a detailed understanding of financial return and risks by channel;
- Managing alternative cost structures for International resources and resource groups;
- Support to the operational accounts team during high volume of work periods.
Requirements:
- 5 years Project Controller Experience;
- Experienced with using ERP systems, in particular Navision and IFS;
- Relevant experience in an organisation that has been involved in the delivery of Industrial/ Energy or related Industries projects;
- Candidates must have a minimum level of accounting experience with a recognised accountancy qualification such as AAT or ACCA;
- Be results driven with attention to detail;
- Experience of dealing with Customers and Suppliers.
