Senior Credit Risk Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review, build and implement effective policies, strategies and risk management approaches across the end-to-end credit lifecycle;
- Develop and maintain the bank’s credit risk policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Drive the analytical agenda within the business, enabling the achievement of strategic business goals;
- Develop and enhance the overall credit risk capability for the bank;
- Deputise for the Head of Credit Risk when necessary across key forums and committees.
Requirements:
- Experience designing, developing and implementing strategies in a Credit Risk environment;
- Highly numerate degree required;
- Strong SAS or SQL skills are highly desirable; programming experience in R or Python is also great;
- Involvement or knowledge of the scorecards and Credit Risk decision models preferred;
- Experience in Cards or Unsecured Lending is ideal.
