Our company is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Continually monitor performance and identify ways to improve productivity whilst reducing costs;
  • Report downtimes and put preventative actions in place;
  • Ad-Hoc transport office duties;
  • Responsible for the overall operation;
  • Use problem solving techniques to resolve issues and implement improvements;
  • Follow and sign off tasks in the current operational task plan;
  • Facilitate daily production meeting(s);
  • Liaise with supporting functions on plan quality, trouble shooting, maintenance and improvements;
  • Supervising a transport operation;
  • Liaise with production planning to ensure machine schedule and priority parts are adhered to;
  • Manage WIP and post NC to ensure minimum stock holding and dwell within operational KPIs;
  • Monitor and record floor to floor times against plan;
  • Operational administration as required;
  • Driver de-brief;
  • Communicate with maintenance team to ensure planned maintenance and production priorities are considered.

Requirements:

  • VHF Radio Certificates;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Basic Safety & Emergency Training (STCW + HUET or BOSIET and CA-EBS incl sholder Measurement);
  • The ability to working under pressure within a busy transport office;
  • Fluent in English written and verbal;
  • An understanding of compliance within the transport industry;
  • Computer knowledge- Microsoft Office;
  • Min. 5 years in a supervisor /foreman role;
  • Specific experience for oeprations involving: Module handling, Heavy Lifting, Flexible Pipelay, Cable Lay, Decommissioning, Subsea Inspection;
  • Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues;
  • Oil & Gas UK or Norwegian Maritime Authorit y approved Health Certificate;
  • Min. 10 years offshore in subsea industry;
  • Must be IT literate (Including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Navipac / Helmsman;
  • Experience in an operational role in a logistics or haulage business.
