Our company is looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the trustworthiness of the lab data and co-ordinate its personnel;
  • Resolving quality issues and communicating these to production and customers;
  • Promote a safety-bound corporate culture;
  • Be responsible for the collaborators’ integration, professional growth, valorisation and motivation;
  • Overseeing the team of quality engineers;
  • Support, assist and collaborate with the other corporate departments on operational aspects related to technical/quality issues;
  • Manage the documentation of the QMS and the HSSMS;
  • Guarantee the training on principles of the QMS and the HSSMS in the whole firm;
  • Completing quality audits and actioning corrective procedures;
  • Assisting with new product introduction;
  • Apply the Corporate principles and values;
  • Collaborate within his/her area of responsibility, on the implementation and updating of the HSSMS in the reference plant;
  • Allocating workload in the quality department;
  • Co-ordinate internal and external audits (supplier, clients, certification body) reporting to the Corporate Structure;
  • Following quality processes.

Requirements:

  • Chemical or Engineering Diploma;
  • Good housekeeping and organisations skills;
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential;
  • Experience of using SAP systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given;
  • Ability to work within a team to solve problems and issues;
  • Ability to work in an organised manner;
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook is essential;
  • Good communication and telephone skills;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO19001;
  • The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality role;
  • Must have a strong background in engineering, manufacturing or assembly;
  • Working experience reading from technical engineering drawings;
  • Must have previous experience managing a team.
