Our company is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management (25% of your time): Management of several of our existing and well-established accounts across the UK;
  • Plan and execute direct marketing and sales activities to maintain and develop sales;
  • Manage major accounts in accordance with agreed business plans to grow sales and overall growth;
  • Ensure all KPI’s and sales processes are being achieved;
  • Negotiate tenders and contract terms to meet both the client and organisation needs;
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills;
  • Research and identify new sales opportunities wherever there is an electro-mechanical requirement;
  • Work with the engineering and service centres to ensure projects and schedules are being delivered and met;
  • Prepare and present to customers on products and services, meeting client’s requirements.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team;
  • Good understanding of optics and laser principles;
  • Business development;
  • Excellent negation, presentation and problem solving skills;
  • Research (primary and secondary) and analysis skills;
  • Working effectively in a startup company environment;
  • Strong innovation, analytical and diagnostic skills;
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing in order to achieve tight deadlines;
  • Ability to close sales where the opportunity to do so arises in customer relationships;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
