Our company is looking for a Category Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the operational relationship with key sellers, brands and retailers;
  • Proactively manage the accounts and implement scaling opportunities;
  • Target merchandise and user levels to drive product performance;
  • Develop expert understanding of business operations and current strategies and utilise insight to identify opportunities for growth;
  • Partner with trading lead to develop annual strategy and quarterly commercial plan;
  • Target merchandise and use levers to get products on site to drive performance;
  • Collaborate with the National Accounts team to deliver compelling insight to the Grocery Retailers;
  • The creation of category insights to support the building of compelling category sells;
  • Provide actionable insights to improve Brand visibility in store;
  • Providing compelling insights to the Shopper team for Trade releases;
  • Interpretation and analysis of data, reviewing gaps, shelf space, trends, promotional activity etc to provide ongoing reports;
  • Translation of analysis to meaningful insight, presenting findings to internal and external commercial teams building strong relationships;
  • Owning the relationship with JDA to maintain our space planning systems;
  • Maintenance our data systems including IRI and Kantar;
  • Building and managing our portfolio of customer planograms.
