Our company is looking for a Junior MI Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR software – run reports and provide analytics;
  • Develop new BI solutions for the business – reports and dashboards (data visualisation);
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports in a timely manner;
  • Understand business needs and translate in to analysis and reporting;
  • Complete regular audits of data and reports;
  • Seek to improve operational efficiency – increasing service levels;
  • Present data in an easily digestible and effective way;
  • Create and provide essential MI to deliver the short and longer term business strategic objectives to enable Senior Management decision making;
  • Produce tactical ad-hoc reporting for MI / BI consumers if productionised data is not available;
  • Ensure that all MI solution documentation is up-to-date and create new documentation as required;
  • Utilise productionised datasets to develop semantic layers, for consumption by MI / BI consumers;
  • Support the Systems / Data Analyst in developing and maintaining a variety of MI and financial reporting solutions across multiple software streams;
  • Ensuring effective reporting and analysis artefacts are produced, tracked and managed;
  • Provide coaching to MI/BI consumers to utilise tools to access, understand, and interpret datasets and reports;
  • Provision access and distribution of specific datasets / reports to MI / BI consumers that complies with security and “need to know” principles.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management and organisational skills;
  • Strong presentation and relationship building skills;
  • Advanced Excel user;
  • Ability to interpret data and provide insight;
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools;
  • experience in a Data Analyst role;
  • Strong SQL skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills.
