Regulatory Reporting Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for documenting detailed operating procedures setting out the process activities;
- There will be an element of report and process testing as this will be a new process;
- Help build various tools in excel to cross reference reporting data to allow manual updates of missing data;
- Complete UAT testing for the project team and suggest enhancements;
- Review trade reporting on both DTCC and UNAVISTA resolving any exceptions;
- Participates in identifying, documenting and resolving data exceptions through the daily review of error reporting;
- Support daily reporting tasks to supporting EMIR/ASIC and MAS reporting requirements;
- Resolution of reject messages for the trade repository;
- Performs data exception management for the Project Team.
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret and manipulate large sets of data;
- Highly numerate;
- Ability to articulate process activity steps into accurately documented procedures;
- Ability to analyse management information;
- Ability to liaise with internal functions to resolve and correct data exceptions – able to articulate the nature of data exceptions accurately;
- Ability to write detailed operating procedures.
