AV Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a AV Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of business strategy and performance in co-operation with the executive team;
- Manage customer accounts and manage/respond to tenders;
- Produce quotations, monthly board reports and project plans which determine time frames, resource requirements and procedures;
- Assist in commercial contract reviews prior to signing;
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of product development and market needs;
- Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual;
- Define the scope, goals and deliverables of projects and complete them in line with the project procedures;
- Ensure that measuring and testing equipment required for the work area is properly identified, calibrated, adjusted and labelled;
- Track cost, variations and changes throughout the project;
- Report incidents, accidents and near misses to management;
- Maintain Company health and safety policy on a daily basis throughout the duration of the project;
- Develop a full-scale project plan and other communication documents for the project;
- Work closely with the clients, main contractors & consultants to create clear project timeline and milestones;
- Motivate, and support all Installation teams, and resolve issues and challenges;
- Take responsibility for various special projects from time to time.
Requirements:
- Ability to drive progress;
- Good client management and liaison skills;
- Strong commercial acumen;
- Experienced individual with a passion for Audio Visual;
- You will need be to be a proven Project Manager with strong AV experience;
- Ability to read and understand floor plans and working drawings;
- Extensive knowledge of commercial AV technology and product;
- Professional attitude and work ethic;
- Crestron, Extron and AMX systems programming experience;
- Ability to use AutoCAD;
- Strong communication skills at all levels;
- Work and respond quickly at all times.
