Photographer/ Videographer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Photographer/ Videographer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately save and archive images, including editing and resaving of images for VIP customers;
- Maintain website product photos with new as well as continuing products;
- Sourcing suitable music and have a basic knowledge of music rights;
- Provide 360 – degree photography of all products across both brands;
- Create key imagery for marketing team to use across multiple platforms;
- Maintain comprehensible digital asset library;
- Work with design teams to collate all imagery for selling tools;
- Editing to a professional standard for use in-store, at events and on social media;
- Creating motion graphics, editing audio to a basic level;
- Ensuring work is delivered on time and to specification;
- Ability to style and dress products on POS in a commercial manner;
- Film all lifestyle and ECom video content;
- Optimisation of images ready to upload to CMS;
- Editing of all photography to remove backgrounds, change colours and manipulate layers and retouching;
- Produce high quality, commercial images, ensuring that they are exposed correctly and colour consistent from both on site and on location shoots.
Requirements:
- Photography, videography and animation experience;
- Have a passion for fashion and creative background with at least 2 years of experience in a commercial setting;
- Experience of social media advertisements and promotions;
- A Level/ Degree in Photography or a creative subject and able to demonstrate experience;
- Be friendly, self-motivated and approachable;
- Ability to multi task and work to deadlines;
- Proven experience in photography and videography editing with a high degree of computer literacy;
- Understanding and knowledge of product trends and a strong brand awareness;
- Experience of event photography and videography;
- Project management experience – tracking progress and updating excel documents;
- Attention to detail to ensure a right first time approach;
