Our company is looking for a Operational Support Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Some reception duties such as signing visitors in and out and supplying safety equipment;
- Assist supervisors and team leaders with the planning of collection and deliveries;
- Respond to incoming email enquiries;
- Ensure all customer consignments are processed correctly and in line with company procedure;
- Communicate with drivers and provide support as required;
- Make delivery bookings;
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times;
- Ensure all telephone calls are answered promptly and courteously;
- Input quotations.
Requirements:
- Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to keep up-to-date, accurate records;
- Organisational skills – prioritising, following-up, accurate record-keeping;
- Ability to follow existing, and shape new, Standard Operating Procedures;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
- The ability to stay calm under pressure – this is vital;
- To be able to think from a Sales perspective as well as logistically;
- Ability to take ownership of issues and be accountable;
- Keen eye for detail;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- The ability to communicate with staff at all levels;
- Friendly, confident and with a good sense of humour;
- Great telephone manner.
