Our company is looking for a Operational Support Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Some reception duties such as signing visitors in and out and supplying safety equipment;
  • Assist supervisors and team leaders with the planning of collection and deliveries;
  • Respond to incoming email enquiries;
  • Ensure all customer consignments are processed correctly and in line with company procedure;
  • Communicate with drivers and provide support as required;
  • Make delivery bookings;
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times;
  • Ensure all telephone calls are answered promptly and courteously;
  • Input quotations.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to keep up-to-date, accurate records;
  • Organisational skills – prioritising, following-up, accurate record-keeping;
  • Ability to follow existing, and shape new, Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure – this is vital;
  • To be able to think from a Sales perspective as well as logistically;
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and be accountable;
  • Keen eye for detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • The ability to communicate with staff at all levels;
  • Friendly, confident and with a good sense of humour;
  • Great telephone manner.
