Our company is looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Send PO’s via email to various suppliers;
  • Check the daily Maestro report and chase for POD’s if past the due date;
  • Add POB’s and POD’s in Maestro;
  • Send PO’s back to branches via email if their order is local;
  • Checking supplier statements;
  • Enter invoices in XMPro;
  • Any other ad hoc tasks;
  • Raise Maestro jobs for PO’s;
  • Do stock counts for LON & 1PO’s stock of TT4’s (monthly);
  • Assist with the recording and logging all contracts retained in KCC and ensure they comply with all procedures, policies and practices;
  • Carry out supplier checks as required – including checks on performance, health & safety, insurance and financial standing;
  • Reporting on stock availability;
  • Negotiating rates without compromising service;
  • Ad hoc project work;
  • Processing stock returns.

Requirements:

  • 3 months probation;
  • Generalist procurement skills;
  • Able to work in a full time role-Monday to Friday;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Advanced computer skill, familiar all kinds of MS office software, esp. Excel and Power Point;
  • Preferred industry exposer in, IT/Telcom, Internet, Financial Services, MarComm or MarTech, BioSci, or Medical;
  • Office based work environment experience;
  • Inter-personal skills;
  • Organisational skills;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Excellent standard of computer literacy – including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • 1-3 years of experience studying or working in procurement;
  • Confident with numbers;
  • Fast learning in a very changeable and quick-move environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills.
