Our company is looking for a Pcb Assembler to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture cable assemblies;
- Working from manufacturing drawings;
- Small mechanical assemblies;
- Soldering of through hole components;
- Understand orientation and component types;
- Populate Printed Circuit Boards;
- Use of computer system to record production notes;
- Carry out Through Hole soldering;
- Able to read and understand technical drawings/route cards;
- Other general PCB assembly tasks;
- Soldering of components and parts;
- Test products when required;
- Cable assembly, self inspection and board cleaning;
- Inspection of assemblies;
- Building cable assemblies.
Requirements:
- Computer Literate;
- Ability to work to own deadlines, manage time and prioritise workload;
- IPC or J-STD certification/background;
- Ability to problem solve and provide technical support;
- Ability to read technical drawings;
- Previous knowledge of electronic components.
