Our company is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tender responses and requests for quotations;
  • Pre-submission – validation of proposals in line with authority levels;
  • Project management of selected projects;
  • Production of reports on levels of activity / business or ad-hoc as required;
  • Handling of initial enquiries;
  • Collation and issuance of “Approval” documentation;
  • Collation of information for proposals and tender responses;
  • Preparation of customer proposals;
  • Providing bid management function on large bids and tenders;
  • Producing data for reporting for Business Managers and Management;
  • Commercial support (terms and conditions including contract negotiations in conjunction with Commercial Manager);
  • C4C maintenance (assisting Business Managers with updating C4C/CRM platform);
  • Office based technical support to the Equipment Sales Business Managers;
  • Assisting with proposal preparation / supporting tender submissions;
  • Co-ordinating and managing project handover’s between sales and project execution / service.

Requirements:

  • Clean driving licence;
  • Good Co-Ordination Skills;
  • Useful to have Marine/Navy or Oil/Gas background;
  • Solid Engineering / Project Engineering Background;
  • Proactive, organised, efficient;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and on own reconnaissance;
  • Read and Understand Technical Drawings;
  • General understanding of Commercial Awareness.
