Reporting Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review of the annual subsidiary financial statements under FRS101;
- Review consolidated and subsidiary month-end files;
- Produce internal technical papers and guidance for new standards and business change;
- Preparation of the annual Group consolidated financial statements and half year results under IFRS;
- Ensure compliance with group policies and accounting standards;
- Preparation of the regulatory returns and reporting for the FCA;
- Work with the Group’s external auditors to deliver an efficient audit to timetable;
- Assist in the preparation of the reporting calendar & timetable for the annual and half year results;
- Maintaining and improving systems, processes and controls;
- Review and coordination of all supporting documentation and audit schedules.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes;
- BSC/MSC degree in Accounting/Finance;
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP experience preferred;
- Fully qualified or part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
