Reporting Accountant Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of the annual subsidiary financial statements under FRS101;
  • Review consolidated and subsidiary month-end files;
  • Produce internal technical papers and guidance for new standards and business change;
  • Preparation of the annual Group consolidated financial statements and half year results under IFRS;
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and accounting standards;
  • Preparation of the regulatory returns and reporting for the FCA;
  • Work with the Group’s external auditors to deliver an efficient audit to timetable;
  • Assist in the preparation of the reporting calendar & timetable for the annual and half year results;
  • Maintaining and improving systems, processes and controls;
  • Review and coordination of all supporting documentation and audit schedules.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes;
  • BSC/MSC degree in Accounting/Finance;
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP experience preferred;
  • Fully qualified or part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
