Data and Systems Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Data and Systems Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely and accurate database updates of new and existing products;
- Assisting Enterprise Data Management team members with data mapping and SQL knowledge;
- Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports (both internal and external) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
- Extract data from different systems, validate it, cleanse it and report on it;
- Building and developing BBIs ZAP BI dashboards, reports and improving ZAP datasets & dataflows (crystal reporting an advantage);
- Development of data standards;
- Be a key member of the Sage X3 project team;
- Responsible for the data load into the new live system;
- To ensure that business data is optimised in terms of KPIs and detailed analytical reporting requirements;
- Be able to use SQL & BI tools to manage and analyse data, which is then used for reporting purposes;
- Data migration from non-Sage X3 systems;
- Take an active role in the implementation of future X3 system implementations;
- Highly skilled in extracting and manipulating data from a range of systems;
- To provide backup support to the other members of the data and systems team.
