Our company is looking for a IT Support to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve as many queries on first contact as possible;
- Setting up new starters joining the bank;
- Implementing software and hardware upgrades;
- Producing employee IT training manuals/user guides as and when required;
- Supporting the implementation of IT sales and operational systems for business processes, including setting out such processes;
- Support the banks IT infrastructure and system maintenance;
- Assist with research and report on new banking technologies;
- Fix any issues associated with PC’s , printers and other technologies;
- Hardware and network problems for approximately 300 employee and client users;
- Responsible for solving a range of software;
- Maintaining the database;
- Daily system health checks and liaising with and assisting office maintenance staff;
- Procurement;
- Managing the IT service provider on day-day issues;
- First point of contact for all PC support activity.
Requirements:
- Ability to diagnose IT & AV problems from conversations with users with a wide variety of technical understanding;
- An IT related qualification and one to two years’ experience is desirable;
- Constantly develops understanding of the services provided by the area of work to provide accurate help and assistance to customers;
- Ability to prioritise own workload and to handle a number of competing tasks to meet deadlines;
- Ability to clarify non-routine matters and explain complicated matters clearly both verbally and in writing;
- Liaises with a variety of contacts to disseminate information in the right format at the right time;
- Full training will be given, but knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications is essential;
- Ability to deliver a consistently high standard of customer-focussed service, ensuring that customers’ needs are understood and met;
- The successful applicant will have a friendly, outgoing personality and will be eager to learn;
- Virtualisation, Active Directory, Cisco unified communication, AV control, MS Office proficiency.
