KS1 Teacher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Working with a child’s strengths and weaknesses to support their development and progress;
- Monitoring pupil’s development, strengths and weaknesses and setting targets for progress;
- Creating and maintaining a safe learning environment which supports the learning of all pupils;
- Identifying the needs of individuals and groups within the class, taking note of individual education plans and liaising with the SENCO as required;
- Planning and delivering all lessons following the curriculum;
- Building good relationships with pupils and other members of school staff;
- Setting clear targets to be reached whilst creating a high level of interest and participation.
Requirements:
- QTS;
- Strong classroom management;
- You must have legal right to work in the UK;
- EYFS curriculum knowledge;
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained;
- Provide documents to clear APSCo vetting process;
- 2 years references, 1 being most recent employer;
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview;
- Enhanced DBS on the online update system (or willing to have one processed).
