Our company is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery;
- General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas;
- To always maintain a high standard of dress and behaviour;
- To maintain the Company’s standards of hygiene and cleanliness;
- Maintaining a good relationship with all kitchen and front of house staff and management;
- Delivery through all these tasks of exceptional kitchen hygiene standards;
- Ensure all equipment and utensils are washed and put away to the standards required;
- Ensure that all COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements are adhered to;
- Collect and wash up pots and pans;
- getting pots, pans, plates and cutlery back into use quickly;
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitized;
- Washing up;
- Adhere to Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations;
- Preparing meals to be cooked or distributed;
- Clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
Requirements:
- You must be flexible and conscientious;
- You’ll have a friendly, outgoing personality;
- You should be eager to learn new skills;
- You’ll enjoy working in a close-knit team;
- Display a Yes I Can attitude;
- Must have clean CRB (we will conduct our own);
- Must have transport to get to location;
- Maintaining pot wash area;
- Kitchen Porter duties;
- Flexible to work different shifts;
- Attention to detail;
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Work independently and as part of a team;
- Be enthusiastic, organised and a team player;
- Experience is preferable but not a must.
