Our company is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery;
  • General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas;
  • To always maintain a high standard of dress and behaviour;
  • To maintain the Company’s standards of hygiene and cleanliness;
  • Maintaining a good relationship with all kitchen and front of house staff and management;
  • Delivery through all these tasks of exceptional kitchen hygiene standards;
  • Ensure all equipment and utensils are washed and put away to the standards required;
  • Ensure that all COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements are adhered to;
  • Collect and wash up pots and pans;
  • getting pots, pans, plates and cutlery back into use quickly;
  • Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitized;
  • Washing up;
  • Adhere to Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations;
  • Preparing meals to be cooked or distributed;
  • Clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • You must be flexible and conscientious;
  • You’ll have a friendly, outgoing personality;
  • You should be eager to learn new skills;
  • You’ll enjoy working in a close-knit team;
  • Display a Yes I Can attitude;
  • Must have clean CRB (we will conduct our own);
  • Must have transport to get to location;
  • Maintaining pot wash area;
  • Kitchen Porter duties;
  • Flexible to work different shifts;
  • Attention to detail;
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Work independently and as part of a team;
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and a team player;
  • Experience is preferable but not a must.
