Our company is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond in a timely manner to reactive service, planned maintenance and installation calls in your local area;
  • Provide a professional courteous service whilst on customer’s premises;
  • Provide engineering excellence to all customers;
  • Ongoing Servicing & Calibration of previously installed equipment;
  • Carry out basic training and demonstrations of our equipment to customers;
  • Covering all aspects of the Installation, Calibration and Validation of our equipment.

Requirements:

  • Electrical control diagnostics skills;
  • C&G or NVQ level 3 in mechanical or electrical discipline;
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – desirable;
  • Computer diagnostics skills preferred;
  • Ability to travel worldwide (100 days per annum including UK travel);
  • Full driving licence;
  • Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard;
  • Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development;
  • Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues;
  • Maintain a professional image at all times to represent our company;
  • Competent in the use of electrical and hydraulic test equipment;
  • A sound knowledge of single and three phase electrical equipment and hydraulic circuits;
  • Full Clean Driving Licence as the role involves travelling in a company supplied van to various customer sites;
  • Competent to work on electrical and hydraulic circuits;
  • valid passport.
