Our company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing services in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and Brendoncare’s Policies and Procedures;
  • Providing 1-2-1 supervision sessions with direct reports;
  • Undertaking the redecoration of the home as required including the redecoration of vacant rooms before re-letting;
  • To provide estimates, site measurements, cost control information and maintain necessary records for effective administration, as directed;
  • To support the Company’s Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives;
  • Management of critical spares and back up processes;
  • Supporting storeman;
  • To drive continuous improvement projects and improving equipment and process efficiency;
  • The technical direction, coaching and motivation of a team of multi skilled technicians and maintenance engineers;
  • Management of KPI’s and the relevant action plans to keep the standard;
  • Indirectly manage and ultilise supporting maintenance administration staff to achieve departmental objectives;
  • That our sub-contractor’s work remains high quality, represents value-for-money and that they are working safely;
  • that value for money is being achieved in terms of: time taken, materials used, and working methods;
  • Manage and prioritise a fast & efficient breakdown maintenance response of the available resources;
  • Manage and control the budget for the maintenance of all operational plant equipment, services and press tools.

Requirements:

  • Must be a good communicator with both verbal and written English skills;
  • Knowledge of Air and water Treatment or similar processes;
  • Proven working experience in a similar related role, with three to five years’ experience in a management role;
  • NVQ level 3 in Mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Capable of managing and prioritising various maintenance projects and tasks, some of which may be outside their normal experience;
  • SSSTS Health and Safety (Desirable);
  • Ideally a HNC level or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering;
  • City and Guilds – Electrical, controls and instrumentation or equivalent;
  • NVQ or equivalent in trade specific;
  • City and Guilds – Test and inspection, 17th/18th edition.
