Our company is looking for a Asset Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & appoint external consultants (managing agents, solicitors, valuers, planning consultants, project managers, insurance brokers, etc.);
  • Overseeing disposals and new lettings;
  • Inventory Forecasting;
  • Preparation of reports on asset management initiatives and proposed transactions;
  • Executing all major lease events (including lease re-gears, lease renewals, rent reviews), to achieve optimised returns;
  • Inventory planning & determining and maintaining appropriate stock levels and re-order levels;
  • Work with other areas of the business to transfer assets between functions;
  • Ensuring the asset management process is subjected to the right level of governance;
  • Alongside the New Business Team, to monitor and identify opportunities for additional transactions;
  • Manage relationship with JV Partner (if appropriate) demonstrating best in class asset management;
  • Extensive experience within real estate in an analyst or project management capacity;
  • Monitor all planning applications and maintain an up to date knowledge of competing and benchmark schemes;
  • Developing condition inspection programmes to improve asset availability;
  • Collect data and produce ad hoc reports to project and programme management staff;
  • Support and collaborate with the Operations team in delivery of the Product Experience Framework.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified and MRICS;
  • Ability to learn and develop quickly;
  • Computer literate (MS Office – especially Excel);
  • Good understanding of the principles of purchasing and inventory management;
  • Strong management and lease experience;
  • Excellent, clear and concise communication skills – verbal and written;
  • Experience of working / supporting European offices is preferable, together with language skills desirable in German, French, Italian;
  • Extensive experience within real estate in an analyst or project management capacity;
  • Experience in Valuation/Investment Agency/Capital Markets/Landlord and Tenant;
  • Strong report writing skills;
  • Experience of asset managing multi-let industrial or office is highly desirable;
  • Accountable for the deployment of technical services across new UK&I accounts;
  • Drive CAFM asset data quality improvements and undertake asset verification surveys across portfolio;
  • Manage and govern the asset management life cycle and ensure asset information supports the whole life cycle approach;
  • Meticulously verifying key financial transactions such as billings and invoices.
