Sales Support Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Support Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with additional workloads & deadlines to ensure customer service levels are maintained;
- Making sure excellent customer service is provided at all times;
- Update team regularly on working instructions & training;
- Making sure order book dates are maintained by the team to ensure weekly forecasting is accurate;
- Collate shipping & warranty customer information;
- Manage time & attendance, holidays, sickness, absence;
- Understand customer requirements when exporting to their country;
- Set goals & objectives in line with annual performance review timelines, monitor progress & conduct 1 to 1 reviews;
- Responsible for authorising orders and credit;
- Supervising & assisting sales support team with their daily role;
- Making sure invoices are issued in accordance with agreed terms of business;
- Making sure that all order processing, pricing, shipment dates & freight costs are accurate.
Requirements:
- Experience in supervising a team;
- Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent follow up skills;
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce;
- Bi-lingual in English and another language would be advantageous;
- Ability to understand how to use multiple internet-based systems/platforms;
- Strong Customer Service skills;
- Be the go to person for your department;
- Ability to work independently, and function within a team environment;
- Customer service experience;
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to offer and implement constructive suggestions for continuous improvements;
- Experience in the Consumer Electronics industry;
- Be able to mentor, train and develop your team by leading by example;
- Experience of export processes including application for CoO and ATr supporting documentation;
- Excellent customer service, including written and verbal communication skills.
