Our company is looking for a UK Business Development Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to identify key partners and ecosystem stakeholders to achieve sales targets;
  • Prepare and run sales workshops with senior clients on C-level / Partner-level;
  • Forecast future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to shifts on the market;
  • Report local market trends and competitors;
  • Maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline, constantly refreshing to qualify and identify new opportunities;
  • Identify and close new business with accounting firms in UK&I;
  • Coordinating effectively with all internal stakeholders: presales team, operations, etc;
  • Develop and present improvement cases to accounting partners / stakeholders;
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the solution to the point of becoming an expert in explaining it along with its full value;
  • Develop sales strategies to keep Silverfin competitive and innovative;
  • Provide accurate and dependable revenue projections to the management;
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, utilising relevant skills where appropriate to close new business;
  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions;
  • Ability to be autonomous, responsible and also work with other Business Development Managers;
  • Developing a sales funnel by qualifying new opportunities on a defined list of targeted accounts.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding people and communication skills;
  • Clear written and verbal English is a must;
  • Previous experience in the construction industry and software sales;
  • Able to travel for work occasionally;
  • 5+ years or more of proven sales experience in B2B;
  • 7+ years progressive experience in B2B sales roles, preferably selling to professional services, ideally within the technology space;
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to overcome objections;
  • Strong commercial outlook, excellent networker and consultative approach to business development;
  • Obsession with client happiness and deal generation;
  • Strong problem solving and creative commercial approach;
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to plan multi-penetration strategies across multiple accounts;
  • Although being remotely located, maintain a positive attitude and set an example of professionalism and teamwork for other employees;
  • Self-starter and hands-on, able to drive sales process end-to-end;
  • Data-driven, Process and detail-oriented;
  • Audit/accounting experience is a big plus.
