Junior Accounts Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up new supplier and customer accounts as well as maintain existing accounts details;
- Check daily banking activity and record incoming cash in the accounting systems;
- Be first point of contact in the accounts team and resolve any queries where possible;
- Conduct weekly bank reconciliations;
- Input invoices onto SAGE on a daily basis;
- Prepare invoices for payment on a weekly basis;
- Covering staff expenses processing;
- Purchase ledger duties;
- Adhoc tasks and project work;
- Book keeping;
- Assisting with Month End processes;
- Updating Daily Cashflow;
- Dealing with invoices;
- Managing the cash book;
- Daily Payment Reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Good written and spoken English;
- Be adaptable within the working environment;
- General admin duties;
- Good I.T skills;
- SAGE Experience is needed;
- A nice clear & friendly telephone manor;
- Work well in a team;
- Extremely organised and efficient;
- Managing the cash book;
- Dealing with invoices;
- Good time management skills;
- Book Keeping;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Covering staff expenses processing;
- Friendly, positive and enthusiastic.
