Our company is looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up new supplier and customer accounts as well as maintain existing accounts details;
  • Check daily banking activity and record incoming cash in the accounting systems;
  • Be first point of contact in the accounts team and resolve any queries where possible;
  • Conduct weekly bank reconciliations;
  • Input invoices onto SAGE on a daily basis;
  • Prepare invoices for payment on a weekly basis;
  • Covering staff expenses processing;
  • Purchase ledger duties;
  • Adhoc tasks and project work;
  • Book keeping;
  • Assisting with Month End processes;
  • Updating Daily Cashflow;
  • Dealing with invoices;
  • Managing the cash book;
  • Daily Payment Reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken English;
  • Be adaptable within the working environment;
  • General admin duties;
  • Good I.T skills;
  • SAGE Experience is needed;
  • A nice clear & friendly telephone manor;
  • Work well in a team;
  • Extremely organised and efficient;
  • Managing the cash book;
  • Dealing with invoices;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Book Keeping;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Covering staff expenses processing;
  • Friendly, positive and enthusiastic.
