Our company is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our team.

To program, set and operate 4 axis machines working on Mazatrol & Mazak;
To program, set and operate cnc turning machines – Fanuc controls;
Carry out some cnc milling duties;
Inspection of machined parts to ensure they match drawings and specification reports;
Carry out programming, setting and operating on Mazak machines;
New product programming & existing optimisation of standard product programs;
Carry out CNC Milling and CNC Turning machining;
You will be familiar with ERP functionality and be able to schedule & allocate job orders;
Produce Component parts in tolerance of drawing specifications;
Communicate regularly with the Production Coordinator on specific production requirements;
Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required;
Working to tight tolerances to create components for a range of industry sectors;
Comply with the Management System requirements for Health and Safety ensuring others work to company and policies and procedures;
Produce component parts with surface finish requirements of drawing specification;
As a CNC Programmer, you will be working Monday to Thursday each week.

Working knowledge of Mazatrol and / or Mazak;
Extensive Turning experience;
Experience of small batch work;
Experience of programming, setting and operation of a CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls;
Able to work to tight tolerances;
CAD CAM Experience;
Online and Offline programming;
Good knowledge of manufacturing systems – MRP/ERP would be advantageous but not essential;
Able and willing to work afternoon shifts;
Previous experience of programming, setting and operation of Mazak machines;
Siemens experience;
Fanuc experience;
Produce component parts in tolerance of drawing specification;
Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects;
Excellent interpersonal Skills.
