Mill Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mill Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate and liaise with manages and co-workers;
- To adhere to health & safety policies;
- Assist with equipment maintenance as needed;
- Any other duties as required;
- Ensuring products are labelled correctly;
- Packing finished product;
- perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned, with potential to work at the second mill 2 miles away;
- Cleaning on a daily basis – a clean as you go attitude is essential;
- Operating machinery where required;
- Cleaning on daily basis.
Requirements:
- Previous factory/warehouse experience is an advantage;
- Must have own transport;
- Must have own safety boots, Hi-Viz vest will be provided.
