External Sales Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a External Sales Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating and closing contracts/quotes;
- Follow up of initial quotations to customers;
- Work alongside internal proactive sales team;
- Manage the roles project pipeline and report as needed;
- Promote the client’s manufactured products and key distribution ranges;
- Give technical advice to customers and internal stakeholders;
- Accountable for maintaining personal KPI’s;
- Recommending appropriate products and liaising with the customer as required.
Requirements:
- Proven track record within a proactive, technical sales role;
- Self-motivated, tenacious, driven to succeed, and results oriented;
- Ability to work logically and methodically through complex challenges;
- Knowledge of valves, tanks or pump manufacturing;
- Comfortable in understanding the workings in a Plant room;
- Engineering / plumbing background is desirable;
- Competent Level of IT Skills.
