Our company is looking for a Financial Adviser to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations to clients that meet their goals and ambitions;
- Keep abreast of new industry developments and research the market to ensure that knowledge is current;
- Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services (Pensions, Investments & Savings, Protection);
- Work to a programme agreed with the Area Manager;
- Act in accordance with the FCA Code of Conduct for Company Representatives;
- Ensure on-going continuous professional development;
- Maintain and ensure client files are kept up to date;
- Generate a business pipeline level sufficient to meet your business targets;
- Strive to recognise new business opportunities;
- Respond to client questions and requests;
- Keep up-to-date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace;
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients;
- Proactive approach to business development including developing own introducer and professional connections network;
- Work closely with clients to provide customised recommendations to help them achieve their financial goals;
- Consult with clients on investment strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience as an IFA, Financial Adviser, Financial Consultant or Financial Planning Manager;
- Good compliance track record;
- Good admin/diary management;
- 2 years minimum experience in a CF30 role;
- Level 4 Diploma Qualified in Financial Planning;
- Enthusiasm and willingness to assist clients;
- Full driving licence and own car essential;
- Ability to manage own workload;
- Compliance focused;
- Ability to manage own workloadÂ;
- Level 4 qualification or above, willingness to work towards chartered status;
- Empathetic and relationship focused – quick to understand the needs of the consumer;
- Knowledge of the current market place;
- Flexibility/adaptability to cope with changeÂ;
- Commercially minded, astute and excellent networking skills.
